KEITH McFARLANE started working in private practice in 1974 attaining the role of Project Architect before forming McFarlane Curran & Co in 1987. Since that time he has been the partner responsible for most of the Practice’s larger projects for Housing Associations and Primary Healthcare etc. Keith is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland and the Association for Project Safety in his additional role as a CDM Co-ordinator. He is also experienced in dealing with various planning departments to achieve the best planning approvals for their clients.
COLM CURRAN had 10 years experience in private practice and 8 years as a Building Control Officer with Fife Council before forming the partnership in 1987. Colm’s experience of the building regulations and technical matters has proved extremely useful in the design and construction of many of the practice’s projects. He is the partner responsible for the practice’s many domestic projects and he is heavily involved in adaptions and extensions for the disabled.
